Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Madonna And Child In An Extensive Landscape With A Hill Town, A Goldfinch Flying Above by Bartolomeo Veneto. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 48,034.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bartolomeo Veneto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Madonna And Child in January 2013 with an auction result of USD 962,500.00 (€ 708,554.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Madonna And Child In An Extensive Landscape With A Hill Town, A Goldfinch Flying Above von Bartolomeo Veneto zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 48.034,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bartolomeo Veneto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Madonna And Child im Januar 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 962.500,00 (€ 708.554,18).
