Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,267.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bartolomeo Schedoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saint John The Baptist In A Landscape in January 2014 with an auction result of USD 1,805,000.00 (€ 1,337,037.04).
