Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters, which included the work Still Life Of An Upturned Vase Of Flowers, With A Canvas Painting Showing Saint Joseph Holding The Christ Child, And Another Showing Saint Nicolas Of Bari by Bartolomé Pérez. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,391.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bartolomé Pérez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Parrot Tulip, An African Marigold, Morning Glory, Hyacinths And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Urn, On A Ledge in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 101,167.42).

Im April 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of An Upturned Vase Of Flowers, With A Canvas Painting Showing Saint Joseph Holding The Christ Child, And Another Showing Saint Nicolas Of Bari von Bartolomé Pérez zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.391,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bartolomé Pérez erzielen.
