Auction result misses estimated price range

The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 7,250.00 (€ 10,14 Admittedly, works by Bartolomé Pérez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Parrot Tulip, An African Marigold, Morning Glory, Hyacinths And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Urn, On A Ledge in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 101,167.42).
