In December 2015 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work A Parrot Tulip, An African Marigold, Morning Glory, Hyacinths And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Urn, On A Ledge by Bartolomé Pérez. The price achieved of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 101,167.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Parrot Tulip, An African Marigold, Morning Glory, Hyacinths And Other Flowers In A Sculpted Urn, On A Ledge is the most expensive artwork by Bartolomé Pérez that we have observed at auctions so far.
