Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bilongue 4 by Barthélémy Toguo was sold in the Heaven auction at Sothebys in Paris in November 2020. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,528.00 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Barthélémy Toguo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work What'S Your Name, 2003 in December 2021 with an auction result of MAD 260,000.00 (€ 24,580.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Bilongue 4 von Barthélémy Toguo wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Heaven bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.528,00 und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Barthélémy Toguo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit What'S Your Name, 2003 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von MAD 260.000,00 (€ 24.580,31).
