Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Artcurial held the auction Moroccan & African Spirit, which included the work Processing, 1999-2005 by Barthélémy Toguo. The price achieved of MAD 223,040.00 (€ 20,426.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as MAD 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by Barthélémy Toguo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2021 the work What'S Your Name, 2003 was auctioned for MAD 260,000.00 (€ 24,580.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Moroccan & African Spirit durch, in der auch die Arbeit Processing, 1999-2005 von Barthélémy Toguo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von MAD 223.040,00 (€ 20.426,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit MAD 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Barthélémy Toguo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2021 die Arbeit What'S Your Name, 2003 für MAD 260.000,00 (€ 24.580,31) versteigert.
