A top price for Barrie Cooke - as previously expected
The work Long Nude by Barrie Cooke was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2018. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,846.93) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Long Nude is the most expensive artwork by Barrie Cooke that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Long Nude von Barrie Cooke kam im September 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.846,93) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Long Nude das teuerste Kunstwerk von Barrie Cooke, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
