In the The House Sale auction, the work A young peasant girl standing in front of a tree; A young peasant boy standing with his arms folded changed hands for USD 1,000.00 (€ 691.18) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dominique-Vivant Denon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Maria Theresa Of Naples And Sicily (1772-1807) As A Young Girl in July 2016 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,911.62).
