In the Old Masters including Old Master & British Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work A Seated Woman With A Feathered Hat And Holding A Fan, Seen In Profile sold for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,033.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dominique-Vivant Denon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait Of Maria Theresa Of Naples And Sicily (1772-1807) As A Young Girl sold at auction in July 2016 with the realized price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,911.62).
