Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dominique-Vivant Denon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Maria Theresa Of Naples And Sicily (1772-1807) As A Young Girl, which sold at auction in July 2016 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,911.62).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.031,50 (€ 2.655,31) einen neuen Besitzer.
