Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams held the auction Chinese Paintings-The Online sale, which included the work Two Peacocks and Pine Tree by Bao Shaoyou. The price achieved of HKD 12,800.00 (€ 1,544.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bao Shaoyou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peacock By Spring Blossoms in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Peacocks and Pine Tree von Bao Shaoyou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.800,00 (€ 1.544,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bao Shaoyou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peacock By Spring Blossoms im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.905,00).
