A top price for Bao Shaoyou - as previously expected
The work Peacock By Spring Blossoms by Bao Shaoyou was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Peacock By Spring Blossoms is the most expensive artwork by Bao Shaoyou that we have observed at auctions so far.
