Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Bao Shaoyou achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Fishing sold for HKD 18,000.00 (€ 18,381.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bao Shaoyou; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Peacock By Spring Blossoms sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bao Shaoyou erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Fishing für HKD 18.000,00 (€ 18.381,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bao Shaoyou; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Peacock By Spring Blossoms im Oktober 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.905,00).
