Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sparrows and Hay by Bao Shaoyou was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 6,348.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bao Shaoyou - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Peacock By Spring Blossoms, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sparrows and Hay von Bao Shaoyou kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 6.348,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Bao Shaoyou mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Peacock By Spring Blossoms beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.905,00) versteigert wurde.
