Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Peony/Calligraphy by Bao Shaoyou was sold in the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 10,625.00 (€ 1,199.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bao Shaoyou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peacock By Spring Blossoms in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,905.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Peony/Calligraphy von Bao Shaoyou wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 10.625,00 (€ 1.199,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bao Shaoyou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peacock By Spring Blossoms im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.905,00).
