Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Seven Sages Of The Bamboo Grove, After Chen Hongshou by Bao Dong. The price achieved of USD 122,500.00 (€ 91,870.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Bao Dong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work Album Of Landscape And Figures was auctioned for HKD 156,000.00 (€ 159,306.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven Sages Of The Bamboo Grove, After Chen Hongshou von Bao Dong zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 91.870,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Bao Dong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Album Of Landscape And Figures für HKD 156.000,00 (€ 159.306,52) versteigert.
