Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,956.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bal Chhabda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work South Indian Landscape in September this year with an auction result of USD 157,500.00 (€ 148,809.52).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.956,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bal Chhabda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit South Indian Landscape im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.500,00 (€ 148.809,52).
