This artwork by Bada Shanren achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Two Deer Under Pine Tree sold for HKD 1,502,500.00 (€ 163,210.46) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 800,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bada Shanren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Natore in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 76,910,000.00 (€ 8,889,373.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Bada Shanren erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Two Deer Under Pine Tree für HKD 1.502.500,00 (€ 163.210,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 800.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bada Shanren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Natore im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 76.910.000,00 (€ 8.889.373,15).
