Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Two men sawing a plank by Baccio Bandinelli was sold in the Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 auction at Christies in London in July last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,611.19), 21% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baccio Bandinelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colossal Bust Of An Ancient Hero in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 657,250.00 (€ 745,781.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Two men sawing a plank von Baccio Bandinelli wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Old Master and British Works on Paper: Drawings, Watercolours and Prints 1500-1900 bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.611,19) und damit 21% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Baccio Bandinelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Colossal Bust Of An Ancient Hero im Juli 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 657.250,00 (€ 745.781,74).
