Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 31,500.00 (€ 27,530.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Baccio Bandinelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Colossal Bust Of An Ancient Hero in July 2009 with an auction result of GBP 657,250.00 (€ 745,781.74).

Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 31.500,00 (€ 27.530,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
