Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Girl With Dove) by B. Prabha was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,644.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by B. Prabha have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 70,938.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Girl With Dove) von B. Prabha kam im März 2021 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.644,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von B. Prabha auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 70.938,76).
