Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Aya Takano was worth HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,570.30) to a buyer in April last year. This price was achieved in the auction Faces Places: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aya Takano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Aya Takano war einem Käufer im April letzten Jahres HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.570,30) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aya Takano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
