Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the 30th Year of the Showa, the Day the Fire Flowers Rose by Aya Takano was sold in the Disruptors: Evening Sale of 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Design and Watches auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in May this year. The price achieved of HKD 635,000.00 (€ 76,111.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Aya Takano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 428,902.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In the 30th Year of the Showa, the Day the Fire Flowers Rose von Aya Takano wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Disruptors: Evening Sale of 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Design and Watches bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 635.000,00 (€ 76.111,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aya Takano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sweetness In The Dark (Painted In 2009) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 428.902,17).
