This artwork by Axel Jungstedt achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2021. In the Important Spring Sale auction, the work Water Lilies sold for SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,407.83) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Axel Jungstedt - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Från Venedig" (From Venice), which sold at auction in June last year for SEK 220,000.00 (€ 20,320.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Axel Jungstedt erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Spring Sale wurde die Arbeit Water Lilies für SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.407,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Axel Jungstedt mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Från Venedig" (From Venice) beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für SEK 220.000,00 (€ 20.320,95) versteigert wurde.
