Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Winter Sale, which included the work The invitation by Axel Jungstedt. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 42,000.00 (€ 4,182.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Axel Jungstedt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Från Venedig" (From Venice) in June last year with an auction result of SEK 220,000.00 (€ 20,320.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Winter Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The invitation von Axel Jungstedt zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 42.000,00 (€ 4.182,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Axel Jungstedt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Från Venedig" (From Venice) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 220.000,00 (€ 20.320,95).
