It achieved a price of DKK 4,600.00 (€ 616.35), exceeding the pre-set estimate by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Axel Johansen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Vessels at a Danish port sold at auction in April 2003 with the realized price of GBP 587.50 (€ 765.47).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von DKK 4.600,00 (€ 616,35) und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 53%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Axel Johansen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Vessels at a Danish port im April 2003 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 587,50 (€ 765,47).
