This artwork by Axel Bentzen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bruun Rasmussen in October this year. In the Modern art and design auction, the work Forest scenery sold for DKK 12,500.00 (€ 1,674.87) - well above the estimate of DKK 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Axel Bentzen; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot “Villavej” (View from a street) sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of DKK 2,700.00 (€ 2,359.73).
Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Axel Bentzen erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern art and design wurde die Arbeit Forest scenery für DKK 12.500,00 (€ 1.674,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem Schätzpreis von DKK 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Axel Bentzen; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit “Villavej” (View from a street) im Januar 2024 mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 2.700,00 (€ 2.359,73).
