Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Still life in a garden setting by Axel Bentzen for DKK 3,400.00 (€ 456.12). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Axel Bentzen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Villavej” (View from a street) in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,700.00 (€ 2,359.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still life in a garden setting von Axel Bentzen für DKK 3.400,00 (€ 456,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Axel Bentzen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Villavej” (View from a street) im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.700,00 (€ 2.359,73).
