Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Shop By Underground Between 10 & 4 by Austin Cooper for GBP 500.00 (€ 597.50). This price was achieved in the auction Travel and Vintage Posters at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Austin Cooper have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paris For The Weekend in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,848.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Shop By Underground Between 10 & 4 von Austin Cooper für GBP 500,00 (€ 597,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Travel and Vintage Posters bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Austin Cooper auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paris For The Weekend im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.848,70).
