In April last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam, which included this untitled work by Auke de Vries. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,780.00 51% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Auke de Vries; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch Untitled sold at auction in March 2010 with the realized price of EUR 6,000.00.

Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Auke de Vries zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.780,00 und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Auke de Vries; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dutch Untitled im März 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 6.000,00.
