Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The boatyard by Augustus Lunn was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 1,077.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Augustus Lunn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gale Warning in November 2019 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,162.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The boatyard von Augustus Lunn kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 1.077,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Augustus Lunn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gale Warning im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.162,95).
