Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction Turin London Corfu The Collection of Giorgio Marsan and Umberta Nasi, which included the work View On The Coast Of The Bay Of Naples by Augustus John Cuthbert Hare. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 687.50 (€ 934.20). Other works by Augustus John Cuthbert Hare have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 660.00 (€ 978.16) in June 2005 for the work Palazzo Antichi Mattei, Rome.
