Auction result fails to reach estimate
In November 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Das Flötenspiel by Augusto Lovatti for EUR 4,515.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte Kunst at VAN HAM and was even lower than the EUR 6,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Augusto Lovatti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Farmgirls Walking On The Cliff Tops, Capri in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 11,162.50 (€ 18,177.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im November 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Das Flötenspiel von Augusto Lovatti für EUR 4.515,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte Kunst bei VAN HAM erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Augusto Lovatti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Farmgirls Walking On The Cliff Tops, Capri im Juli 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.162,50 (€ 18.177,33).
