Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work La lettera by Auguste Toulmouche for EUR 1,600.00. This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,700.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Toulmouche achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vanity in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 88,125.00 (€ 104,228.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit La lettera von Auguste Toulmouche für EUR 1.600,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.700,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Toulmouche erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vanity im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.125,00 (€ 104.228,27).
