Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work French a Garden Stroll by Auguste Toulmouche. The price achieved of USD 68,500.00 (€ 55,402.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Auguste Toulmouche have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2001 the work Vanity was auctioned for USD 88,125.00 (€ 104,228.27).

Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit French a Garden Stroll von Auguste Toulmouche zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 55.402,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Auguste Toulmouche konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2001 die Arbeit Vanity für USD 88.125,00 (€ 104.228,27) versteigert.
