A top price for Auguste Serrure - as previously expected
In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman: Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work At The Auction by Auguste Serrure. The result of USD 20,000.00 (€ 18,935.81) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, At The Auction is the most expensive artwork by Auguste Serrure that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Collection of A. Alfred Taubman: Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Auction von Auguste Serrure zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 18.935,81) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist At The Auction das teuerste Kunstwerk von Auguste Serrure, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
