Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Tartanes Dans Le Port De Saint-Tropez by Auguste Pégurier. It changed hands for a price of EUR 765.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Auguste Pégurier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bateaux Au Port De Saint-Tropez in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 4,933.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tartanes Dans Le Port De Saint-Tropez von Auguste Pégurier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 765,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Auguste Pégurier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bateaux Au Port De Saint-Tropez im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.933,00.
