The work Fillette Sur La Plage by Auguste Leroux was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2009. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 765.00 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Auguste Leroux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Reflective Moment in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,221.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fillette Sur La Plage von Auguste Leroux wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 765,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Auguste Leroux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Reflective Moment im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.221,41).
