Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Watching the ceremony by Auguste Leroux was sold in the The Sunday Sale auction at Christies in London in September 2006. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 354.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Leroux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Reflective Moment in March 2006 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,221.41).

Die Arbeit Watching the ceremony von Auguste Leroux wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion The Sunday Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240,00 (€ 354,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Leroux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Reflective Moment im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.221,41).
