Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Portrait of a girl with a fan in her hand, a tower beyond by Augustus Jules Bouvier. The price achieved of GBP 625.00 (€ 673.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Augustus Jules Bouvier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Knight's Enchantment in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 5,975.00 (€ 8,723.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2009 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of a girl with a fan in her hand, a tower beyond von Augustus Jules Bouvier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 625,00 (€ 673,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Augustus Jules Bouvier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Knight's Enchantment im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.975,00 (€ 8.723,31).
