Auction result well in line with expectations
The work VENUS I - 1945 by Auguste Herbin was sold in the Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 59,040.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 45,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Auguste Herbin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Route De Montagne En Corse in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 855,000.00 (€ 732,647.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit VENUS I - 1945 von Auguste Herbin wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 59.040,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 45.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Auguste Herbin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Route De Montagne En Corse im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 855.000,00 (€ 732.647,81).
