AUGUST SANDER (1876–1964) Self Portrait, 1925 gelatin silver print, tipped to original mount, printed 1990 by Gerd Sander blindstamped photographer's 'Köln–Lindenthal' credit (recto); signed and dated by Gerd Sander in pencil, dated with print date and numbered '2/12' in Archive copyright stamp, variously annotated in pencil (verso); numbered and dated in Archive stamp and affixed 'People of the Twentieth Century' label (primary mount, verso); credited, titled and dated on affixed gallery label (frame backing) image: 10 x 7 1 ⁄ 2 in.
