The work Älvalek by August Malmström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2009. It achieved a price of SEK 23,000.00 (€ 2,193.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Admittedly, works by August Malmström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "En modern Blenda" in June 2017 with an auction result of SEK 120,000.00 (€ 12,451.14).

Die Arbeit Älvalek von August Malmström kam im November 2009 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 23.000,00 (€ 2.193,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von August Malmström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "En modern Blenda" im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 12.451,14).
