Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Night Landscape in the Valley of Mexico by August Löhr. The price achieved of USD 71,250.00 (€ 64,808.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by August Löhr have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2013 the work El Valle De México was auctioned for USD 161,000.00 (€ 123,960.58).

Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Night Landscape in the Valley of Mexico von August Löhr zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 71.250,00 (€ 64.808,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von August Löhr konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2013 die Arbeit El Valle De México für USD 161.000,00 (€ 123.960,58) versteigert.
