Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Shellfish Fishing at low tide, scene from Normandy by August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg for SEK 30,000.00 (€ 2,869.74). This price was achieved in the auction Important Spring Sale at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Fiskebåten välsignas' (The ceremony of blessing of a fishing boat / Bénédiction d'une barque) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 230,000.00 (€ 22,435.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Shellfish Fishing at low tide, scene from Normandy von August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg für SEK 30.000,00 (€ 2.869,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Spring Sale bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Fiskebåten välsignas' (The ceremony of blessing of a fishing boat / Bénédiction d'une barque) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 230.000,00 (€ 22.435,06).
