Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Courtship by August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,868.57) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Fiskebåten välsignas' (The ceremony of blessing of a fishing boat / Bénédiction d'une barque) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 230,000.00 (€ 22,435.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Courtship von August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.868,57) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von August Wilhelm Nikolaus Hagborg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Fiskebåten välsignas' (The ceremony of blessing of a fishing boat / Bénédiction d'une barque) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 230.000,00 (€ 22.435,06).
