In March 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Fragelina by Attilio Piccirilli. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,368.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Attilio Piccirilli have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2010 the work The Flower Of The Alps was auctioned for USD 23,750.00 (€ 17,461.95).
