Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Atsushi Suwa was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2012. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,417.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atsushi Suwa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sleepers in May 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,240,000.00 (€ 117,272.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Atsushi Suwa kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.417,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atsushi Suwa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sleepers im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.240.000,00 (€ 117.272,73).
