A top price for Atsushi Suwa
In May 2014 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Sleepers by Atsushi Suwa. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,240,000.00 (€ 117,272.73), 55% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Sleepers the most expensive artwork by Atsushi Suwa that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2014 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sleepers von Atsushi Suwa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.240.000,00 (€ 117.272,73) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Sleepers zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Atsushi Suwa, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
